This cap was designed to protect cylinder valves from contamination. It also has a safety feature built in. It has a center that will blow out if the valve is opened without removing the dust cap. This prevents the cap from becoming a projectile that could strike someone. It is made for use on multiple CGA connections.   For some CGA connections it will go on the outside of the valve as a cap.  For other CGA connections it will go on the inside of the valve as a plug.

Fits CGA valves 320 326 346 and 350.  Comes in Red, Blue, and Yellow but custom colors are available.  See part number ACM 014 for Red and ACM 144 for Yellow.  This cap is ribbed, not threaded, for easy application over the valve outlet threads.  It has a tear strip to aid in easy removal from the cylinder valve.
